SIGMA MIXTURE Construction : Sigma Mixer comprises of a double 'U' shaped container welded 700mm x 700 mm x 600mm height.. The shell is of S.S 304 6 mm thick with end plates of MS 16mm thick cladded with 6mm thick S.S 304 sheet and machined together inside which rotates two 'Z' shaped sigma blades of S.S casting rotate in opposite directions at 2 different RPM The clearance between the walls and the container are kept to a minimum of 2mm to ensure maximum efficiency in kneading and The SS shafts 850 fitted with sigma blades are fitted in bearing blocks which are provided with roller bearing, steel gland ,Teflon/ Rubber seal for smooth and leak-less running. Lubricating points are provided for continuous lubrication of the shafts The Sigma tough is provided with a 6 mm thick M.S jacket with MS spiral stiffeners for circulation of cold water upto 1 degree celcius. Top lid 6mm thick Drive: The main drive consists 10 HP non FLP motor reduction gear box and spur gears (EN8 material). The drives is enclosed in a MS guard . Double heater fitted in jacket Tilting:- Tilting up and down movement of the sigma trough powered by Automatically through Power pack arrangement Electrical Control Panel : Consisting of MS cabinet comprising of Contactors, Overload Relay, Indicating lamps. Loading: The materials to be mixed, such as powders, granules, or pastes, are loaded into the mixing chamber. Mixing: The mixing blades rotate in opposite directions, shearing and kneading the materials between them. This action creates intense mixing and kneading action, thoroughly blending the ingredients and forming a homogeneous mixture. Discharge: After mixing is complete, the mixture is discharged from the mixing chamber. Some Sigma mixer machines are equipped with tilting mechanisms or discharge screws to facilitate the removal of the mixed product.
